Myanmar Fashion Designer Group (MFDG) was founded in 2010, February according to the UMFCCI for advice for the designer group which is all about Myanmar. There were 10 members when the group was founded.

The MFDG purpose is to make recognition of Myanmar Designers in international, to make recognition of Myanmar Ethnic design products in International Market, to raise new generations of Myanmar designer,finally to be able to represent Myanmar and each skills will be recognized. For now there are around 21 members and MFDG has made a press conference about its founding purpose and publicity.
