Nippon Expressís liaison office to be opened in Myanmar

Nippon Express Co., Ltd. is a worldwide leader in logistics services. Its head office is based in Tokyo, Japan. The company was established in 1937 as a semi-government transportation service provider.
Nippon Express annual revenues exceed US$14 billion. Nippon Express has a strong global network that spans over 80 countries, with company direct operations in 33 nations.
Nippon Express is also an operator of heavy machinery and construction equipments, expert at transporting heavy goods and handling installation and construction projects in Japan and many other countries.
The liaison office will be located in Sarkura Tower and the opening ceremony will be held at Sedona Hotel, Yangon on February 26.
The company is planning to offer air freight, marine transport and roadways logistics services and they will provide high quality services for local services.
Moreover Myanmar will be likely a logistics hub for China, India and Asean countries.
Nippon Express has opened its liaison offices at 216 towns in 37 countries. The rivals of Nippon Express are DHL Express, Nippon Yusen Kabu-shiki Kaisha and Yamato Holdings.
Germany based logistics DHL Express has entered Myanmar since 1982. DHL Express is a division of the German logistics company Deutsche Post providing international express mail services. Deutsche Post is the world's largest logistics company operating around the world. DHL is a world market leader in sea and air mail.
